Ralph Sultan, under the direction of Finance Minister Carole Taylor, headed up Industry consultation on British Columbia’s Insurance Act, the rewriting and updating of which is long overdue. Important input was provided by the Insurance Brokers Association of BC and executive director Chuck Byrne, president Fraser Lyle and Chair Ted Lewis. Recently, a BBQ was hosted at Ralph’s home to discuss delayed legislative progress on revisions to the Act. Discussion revolved around the new, temporarily delayed, Insurance Act pending in the Legislature.
